“How Long Can You Wait to Have a Baby?” – from the “Atlantic Monthly”
When I was in my 30s, I was not ready to have a baby. Jean M. Twenge’s article from the July/August 2013 issue of the “Atlantic Monthly” (pages 54-60) can help women make good decisions about when to begin a family.
I was almost 44 when I had John. The pregnancy and birth were relatively easy. Because I had had many adventures, had attained a good education and career, and had married a responsible, mature husband, we were both ready for the responsibilities and joys of a child.
I hope others can be as ready.
